Yeah, just in case any of you fair readers want to know, or care, I am in need of a new iMac for Christmas. No, the other one ain't broke, it's just that I need a little more horsepower.
I am in the Apple Store at Baybrook Mall, and I am putting a sticky note on the one I want. So if you are feeling generous this holiday season, come in and look for the yellow slip of paper on the biggest iMac.

I'm with you, buddy. I've sampled the new 20" iMac desktop equipped with the new System 10.5 OS and it's a phenomenal computer. It's amazing how these iMacs just keep getting better. I got an iMac about 3 years ago whenever the model was first offered as an all-in-one system on a pedestal. The desktop iMac that is now available is greatly improved (larger monitor, much more hard drive memory, much more RAM, much faster processing speed, much more advanced OS) and yet the price is the same. Yep, a new iMac is high on my wishlist. But a new Nikon D300 is also very high on the list. Now, if I can just convince my wife ...
